ARCHIVED DUE TO CORONA VIRUS. Will move back to active when we meet as groups again.
Formed by prayer and desire for genuine faith community, a small group of young adults met at the Diocese Pastoral Center to discern how to go deeper in their faith together. From this prayer and continued openness to the Holy Spirit, a community of young adults has sprung up around a weekly Bible study every Monday at the ACE house on the campus of St. Alphonsus church in Ocean Springs. We desire to grow deeper in relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other. We started with six people in August 2017 and continue to grow, expand, and evolve as the Holy Spirit leads us. The target age group is between 18-39 years old.
We've been blessed to grow this ministry in a few ways. Please feel free to join us for any of the below opportunities.
[Locations TBD]
Please call (or text if that's what you're more comfortable doing) Paul Blanchard for any questions you may have: (228) 254-6891. We'd love to see you apart of what we do; whatever you feel the Lord might be calling you to do. If the Lord has put a passion on your heart, but you're not sure how to pursue it, we're happy to add you to our prayer intentions and see how the Lord works.
We have a GroupMe to stay in touch with each other and we'd love to add you to our group and include you in all of our activities.
We're also looking to expand our Bible study into other deaneries in the diocese. I invite you to pray and ask the Holy Spirit if you may be called to either open your home and host a young adult bible study or lead a bible study yourself. There is genuine and authentic need for community within all of us. We are one body and we aren't called to face the world on our own.
May the Holy Spirit guide and protect us on this journey as we strive to live in the world, but not of the world. God bless.
