When you complete the St. Timothy Nomination packet and submit it; whether your youth receives the St. Timothy, Brenda, Bragg, or Ann Rivera award; rest assured they are being recognized for the faithful work they are doing to help build the Kingdom for Christ. No award is better or worse than the other; it's our ability to recognize the unique charisms your youth brings to your youth group.
Since we can only select a limited number of award recipients; if your youth is not selected by our panel committee, as a best practice, we encourage you to share with your youth the nominations you gathered after our conference to show them just how much your parish community appreciates their support.
Side note: Any member of a parish or school can submit a youth or adult for these awards so long as the award packet is completed correctly and we can get in touch with the nominator. There are steps to be taken if your nominee is selected and we rely on the nominator to help us coordinate those actions.
