The Diocese of Biloxi is committed to fostering a safe environment for our young people. As a result, we have entered into an agreement with Virtus for the latter to provide online Safe Environment training for anyone in our parishes and schools who works with young people. This includes all clergy, staff, and volunteers. Recertification training is mandated every five years. This training is also available in Spanish.

Additionally, all visiting clergy, religious men and women, and external employees coming to work in our diocese are required to supply the pastoral center with a letter of suitability stating them to be compliant with their respective diocese's standards for safe environment and background checks.
